Sissinghurst Castle has been a prison in the 1700's, a home to the women's land army and it was also a family home to some fascinating people who lived there or came to stay. It is owned and maintained by the National Trust and it is among the most famous gardens in England.

Godington House is definitly worth going if you are into gardens.

Chilham has being used many times as a filming location and it is not hard to see why. Tenterden, declared 'Jewel of the Weald' has largely escaped much modern development and has consequently retained its charm. Whitstable is probably one of Kents if not Englands most beautiful and quirky seaside towns. Take your picnic to the beach, have an oyster at the working harbor and watch a boat race happen from the shore. Famous for its art and music scene the town is criss-crossed by numerous small alleys, once used by fisherman to reach the beach. It is difficult not to feel instantly relaxed when strolling through this lovely seaside town!
